Low Tide on Bude Beach

It has been cold and wet a lot recently, so maybe a nice sunny beach shot will cheer us all up a bit. This is Bude Beach, taken in September 2010. It was nice and sunny, but not as warm as it looks and it was blowing a gale. It didn’t put the surfers off though; they were there in huge shoals, but  I preferred this tranquil scene of boats left high and dry at low tide.

Well as a lover of Cornwall, Wales and The Lake District I can well appreciate this shot. Had a few hols in Bude. Tintagel and Boscastle are stunning places.
