We like to talk about the weather here in England, and for the past couple of weeks it has been the snow that has dominated our conversations (and blogs). Mostly, however,  it is rain that blights our lives. Although it’s allegedly nice weather for ducks, the rest of us don’t seem too keen on it, especially when we are on holiday. I took this snap on holiday in Boscastle in September 2010: it is sometimes difficult to depict the full wet misery of a rainy day in a photo, so I took this through the rain spattered window from a nice warm café and it seems to capture the mood quite nicely.
